Motorisation is standard on most external blind installations. The spans are large, the blinds are heavy, and manual operation is impractical. We use Somfy and Alpha motors with remote, app, and smart home integration. Wind sensors can retract the blinds automatically in strong gusts to prevent damage.

The fabric options include sunscreen mesh, PVC clear panels, and opaque fabrics. Sunscreen mesh gives shade while maintaining airflow and visibility. PVC clear panels block wind and rain while keeping the view. Opaque fabrics provide full privacy and shade.
