The fabric you choose for your curtains matters more than most people think. In Brisbane, the fabric needs to handle strong UV, high humidity, and temperature swings between air conditioned interiors and outdoor heat.

Polyester is the most practical choice for Brisbane curtains . It resists UV fading, it does not absorb moisture, and it is machine washable. Most of the sheer and blockout curtains we install use polyester or polyester blend fabrics because they hold up over time in Queensland conditions.
