There is a reason we manufacture in Australia rather than importing from overseas. The quality is different. The lead times are shorter. And when something needs adjusting, we can do it in house instead of waiting for a replacement shipment from offshore.

Every blind, curtain, and shutter we sell is made at our own facility . We cut the fabrics on precision machinery. We assemble the hardware. We quality check every product before it leaves the workshop. This means we catch problems before they reach your home, not after.

Import blinds are cheaper upfront. That is the trade off. You pay less at the point of purchase, but the fabric quality, the component durability, and the fit precision are all lower. We see imported blinds fail faster, fade quicker, and fit less precisely than what we produce in house.

Lead times matter too. When we manufacture locally, we control the production schedule. A standard order takes one to two weeks. An imported product can take four to eight weeks, and that is before any delays at customs or port.

Warranty is another difference. We warrant our products because we made them and we know the materials. Import products often have limited or no warranty once the importer passes them on.

Shutters follow the same principle. Locally made shutters use better grade PVC and timber, and the tolerances are tighter. A shutter that fits precisely looks better, operates smoother, and lasts longer.
