Plantation shutters in PVC are probably the best long term option for bathrooms. They are fully waterproof, easy to clean with a damp cloth, and the louvres adjust for ventilation and light control. They cost more than blinds, but they last significantly longer in wet environments and they look good doing it.
What to avoid in bathrooms: Standard timber venetians. Fabric roman blinds. Any blind with a fabric cord that sits in humid air. Standard roller blind fabrics that are not moisture treated.

If your bathroom window faces a neighbour or a street, privacy is the priority. A frosted glass window does not always solve this because you might still want to open the window for airflow. A PVC venetian lets you tilt the slats open for air while keeping the view blocked.
If your bathroom has an exhaust fan, moisture is less of a problem and you have more product options. If the bathroom relies on the window for ventilation, go with a product that stays fully open easily, like venetians or shutters.
